The adventures of Diego stories are based upon the real life adventures of Diego the cat, Ann Phelps (Mom) and the 15+ cats that Ann has rescued and is currently caring for at her home or what is referred to as Catland.

 

This website was created as not only a Cool Cat Community of resources but also as a way to help Ann to continue to care for her current cat family at Catland. Ann has a heart for taking in feral and abandoned cats, especially senior cats, that have been discarded at the end of their life usually due to the death of their elderly owners. It is incredibly sad to be abandoned in an Animal Shelter, frightened and alone. No Cat deserves that. Ann wishes to give these cats a loving, enriched environment to live out their remaining years. The costs incurred in caring for all these cats is quite costly and includes things like food, medication, play toys, and veterinarian care.

 

The proceeds from the Pooter Pal Club donations along with the sales of the Adventures of Diego Books go towards supporting Catland. Ann is currently working towards expanding the outside pens for exercise and fresh air and creating individual home- like areas for severely ill cats, and a community area for healthier cats.
